Happy Tuesday.

Sunday's Bible study was good but short as we didn't get started until close to 6:00 PM. We had 5 guys attend. We covered Luke 17:11-19 (The grateful Samaritan). We'll be going over the rest of chapter 17 and possibly get into 18 at the next Bible study (2/3/09).

The Outdoorsmen Family Ski Day payment deadline quickly approacheth. I've contacted a little over half the folks that have signed up and will contact the rest tomorrow.


We are keeping a log of prayer requests from each Outdoorsmen meeting but have decided not to publish them in any manner (web page, newsletter, etc.). Some of our prayer requests may be personal in nature or simply not something we'd like to have e-mailed to 40-something people. Glenn will be keeping the logs and will be periodically checking up with the requestors to see how things are going.

Friday 1/30/2009 - Outdoorsmen Motorcycle Movie Night
7:30 PM at my place -- bring pop and/or chips. I will be supplying the pizza.
On the agenda is Faster (and possibly Faster '03-'04 if anyone wants to stay later) although I have had ONE request for Wild Hogs

C'mon, who's going to buck up and invite us ruffians over for Superbowl and cheese puffs? I've received an inquiry, and quickly added my name, to see if any of the Outdoorsmen are going to be gracious enough to invite us poor, wretched, folks without TV over to watch the big game. I'll bring a bag of sun-flower seeds. Whose bringing the crock-pot of little smokies?
